Childcare at St. Andrew
Our Childcare Program was founded in 1994 and offers early childhood care and learning in a warm, safe and loving Christian environment for children 6 weeks of age until 5 years of age (or just before entering Kindergarten).
We encourage cooperative play with the guidance of our early childhood professionals which makes us a great place for your child to make new friends. Surrounded by experienced and trained staff, children follow patterns of activities designed to maximize learning and play in a faith-based and safe environment. Each day includes small and large group play, as well as individual experiences that allow children to learn through “hands on” activities.
St. Andrew uses The Creative Curriculum®. The core belief of the curriculum is that all children can learn and benefit from developmentally appropriate practices and content. Through the curriculum teachers organize their classrooms into interest areas, have creative flexibility to adaptation for each child and strive to incorporate the family home from where the child comes.
Our center features an indoor gym, outdoor playgrounds, private classrooms for infants, toddlers and preschoolers, practice life dramatic play areas, hands on science and math opportunities, music, and a wide range of “whole” language experience all within a Christian environment.
We have an on–site Food Safe Certified Cook who provides our children with a nutritious hot breakfast, hot lunch, and a morning and afternoon snack.
